Stinky Brother
Dear Father Christmas,
For Christmas I would like:
Something that smells nice
A
towel truwel trouwelsmall spadeA me-size watering can (I can’t lift the big one)
Seeds that grow really really fast
I have been very good mostly this year. I ate my brockolly nearly every time and was very good mostly in school. I have been going to dancing lessons and can spin very well now. Mrs Slinter says I have tried very hard at sums and my spelling is nearly good.
The music player from last year was very nice, thank you, and I like to listen to music with it and dance around the house. The dress was also pretty, but I picked the sparkly bits off it and lost them. Sorry. I didn’t mean to but my fingers just did it. If you bring nuther dress then I promise I will try to not do that again, thank you.
While I have been very good, my brother has been very bad. He picks on me and tells me I smell and to go away. I was reading a book in his room and he told me to be kwiet quit quite quiet even though I was only humming so quiet I could only hear it in my head. I tryd to be very quiet and he always shouts MUM MUM SHE’S BEING ANNOYING AGEN! even when I am doing nothing much.
This one time, he was jumping on his bed and when I tried to jump on his bed with him he jumped and jumped and wouldn’t let me jump, so I got on anyway and jumped and he was going to shout to Mum and then I pushed him and he fell.
Mummy and Daddy have been looking for him since then and he’s been very quiet. I put him in my cupboard (which is not made of cups but is made of board) and they have not found him in there. I am good at hiding things. Once I hid my bear so well it took me weeks to find her again! And then I found her and I said ‘oh there you are, I hid you very well’! I think Mummy and Daddy are quiet scared that they won’t find him.
He always said that I smell, but he’s the smelly one now. I don’t want him in my room anymore. I want to put him in the garden and thought I might make a flower bed with nice flowers that smell nice so I asked for seeds and the trowele small spade to make it nice.
Oh, and if you could send a new brother please, one that is not broken, I think that would make Mummy and Daddy happy.
Please bring me these things for Christmas so my room can smell nice again and not like my stinky brother and I will be very good all next year and I promise to eat even more brokolly.
love
Susan XOXO
Thanks as always for reading!
I’ve been sketching away in the evenings and added a new design to my Threadless shop:
It’s available in three variations, depending on your tastes and preferred colours.
I’m getting a nice little collection over there now of designs based on horror, cult movies, and eerie images:
They’re also available in my Redbubble shop.
Have a great week ahead. Go be kind and spooky!

Oh the innocence of it...excellent! a real delight!
Good God, Susan!!
I absolutely loved this - I found myself sympathising with her in complete earnest. And I want her never to properly realise what she has done!
