Second person in this is so invasive. It's like I'm being told what to think. Great work! Definitely engrossing.

Thank you 💜 I've been experimenting with a second person in a couple of things recently. I've started a series where I plan to use it as a way of playing with common, shared memories as a launching point for horror micro-fiction. I think the outcomes are quite interesting:

Loved this. And I've never read the story you mentioned, but have it up in a tab to read today!

And yes, I was goth. I still am on the inside! :) 🦇

Ooh, you're in for a treat! The Yellow Wallpaper is superb.

Glad you enjoyed the poem, thank you for commenting 💜

And I'm pretty sure people never really stop being goths, no matter how their appearance might shift 🧛

Omg! How did she manage to cut off my face without me noticing? There’s no blood! Why can I still see?!

If it's good enough for Nicholas Cage and John Travolta, it's good enough for my horror poems :D

Loved this! The second person is so anxiety inducing since seeing your doppelgänger means you’re going to die. Really cool piece!
